Description

 The Training and Development Manager is responsible for providing oversight for all Orthodontic Experts Management training programs, training teams, training materials, and identifying specific training opportunities to meet unfulfilled needs for the company. Works with the Operations and Support Teams on improving and/or developing policies and procedures to improve overall patient experience. 

Requirements

Supervisory Responsibilities: 

• Oversees and coordinates the workflow of assigned staff and departments to ensure training is completed in a timely and quality manner. 
• Sets performance?targets?for?direct?reports?and?conducts?performance?evaluations that are timely and constructive. 

Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Oversee training materials and execution of training for team members in the clinics and newly onboarded doctors.
• Prepare and execute re-training for team members.
• Schedule, prepare for, and conduct recurring training sessions for the administrative teams.
• Develop monitoring systems to ensure that all employees are performing job responsibilities according to training.
• Handle questions and provide information to team members.
• Help design/develop an overall training plan for the company, including identifying specific training to meet unfilled needs and job specific training requirements.
• Design, develop and manage new training programs and material necessary to meet the plan’s objectives.
• Ensure that the training is appropriate for the position and skill level of the trainees.
• Work with existing trainers and other employees in coordinating the provision and effectiveness of on-going training activities.
• Monitor, evaluate and review the quality and effectiveness of training programs
• Manage the company LMS system. 
• Understand and follow company policies and procedures
• Contribute ideas to improve company policies and procedures.
• Oversee and mentor the training department team members. 
• Schedule and maintain a calendar of training activities.
• Work with other departments on developing training materials (videos, quizzes, presentations, etc.)

Required Skills/Abilities: 

• This role requires management and oversight in all lanes of training and development of OE and AE staff.
• Must be comfortable providing feedback to evaluated team members in a professional manner. 
• This role requires proficiency with healthcare laws, regulations, standards, risk management, and performance improvement. 
• This role serves as a Regular Member on the Compliance Committee.
